Visitors information

Please note: The Medical History Museum is currently closed, with the following exemptions:

The Brownless will reopen to staff and students only on Tuesday 4th January. Library hours between January 4th and February 20th will be 10am-5pm weekdays, and the ground floor will be accessible as an after hours zone from 7am-8pm. There won’t be any access on weekends.

Access to the building at all times will be via swipe card for vaccinated staff and students only, not members of the public. This is because of the need for COVID-marshals for any building open to the public, whereas swipe access will be tied to vaccination status for Unimelb visitors. The public may be able to visit the building again from February 21.

For all enquiries, please contact  the museum on  mhm-info@unimelb.edu.au.
